AR Assistant

About the role

Join our finance team in Muscat as an Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant. You will support the efficient management of customer accounts, ensuring accurate recording of payments and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile customer ledgers regularly and work with Sales and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Use ERP systems and MS Office tools to keep AR data accurate and reliable.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners via email and in‑person to address queries and support collection efforts.
• Prepare regular reports on AR status, including aging analysis.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance function.
• Proficiency with ERP applications in a business environment.
• Strong command of the MS Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile customer ledgers and resolve account issues.
