Assistant Director of Sales - Leisure

About the role

The Assistant Director of Sales – Leisure will drive revenue growth by proactively targeting large group and high‑value leisure accounts for our property in Al Mouj, Muscat. This full‑time management position focuses on aligning customer needs with our product portfolio and achieving both personal and team revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and solicit new business opportunities with significant revenue potential.
• Manage and nurture large‑group accounts, ensuring timely contract execution and service delivery.
• Upsell packages and ancillary services to maximize revenue per booking.
• Develop and implement sales plans, creative proposals, and event concepts in partnership with internal teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and economic factors to position offerings effectively.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining brand standards.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers through calls, FAM trips, trade shows, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contracts and service delivery.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 5 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in hospitality or leisure sales.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and demand‑supply factors.
