About the role
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in delivering seamless front‑office operations at a luxury resort. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands‑on guest service to ensure a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing Bell staff, Switchboard operators and Front Desk agents.
- Supervise daily front‑office activities, ensuring efficient check‑in, check‑out and guest‑service processes.
- Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes and implement corrective actions based on feedback.
- Monitor performance against service goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recognize and motivate staff on all shifts, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain open communication with employees and ensure adherence to hotel standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement service‑enhancement plans.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on honesty and integrity.
- Ability to lead, influence and coach a diverse team.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
