Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an excellent customer experience and achieving sales targets. This role oversees daily store operations, manages staff, and steps in to lead the store when the manager is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales by implementing promotional offers, monitoring KPIs, and coaching the team to exceed targets.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s values.
• Audit store administration, resolve issues, and apply procedural updates efficiently.
• Oversee inventory control, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines.
• Manage staff schedules, address concerns, provide performance feedback, and enforce dress‑code and security policies.
• Ensure store security procedures are followed, safeguarding stock and cash.
• Execute corrective actions and progressive discipline when necessary, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
