Assistant Wealth Advisor

About the role

The Assistant Wealth Advisor will support the growth of the bank’s Wealth Management business by deepening client relationships, expanding assets under management and generating fee income. The role focuses on serving high‑net‑worth individuals, promoting new investment products and ensuring a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the Wealth Management strategy for ABO clients by analysing needs, market trends and investment opportunities.
• Support the introduction and promotion of new wealth management products, services and investment instruments tailored to client goals and risk appetite.
• Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities within the existing portfolio to increase AUM and sustainable fee income.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑net‑worth clients and key market stakeholders.
• Apply a disciplined sales process from prospecting to closing while ensuring follow‑up and client satisfaction.
• Deliver personalized advice, proactive communication and timely resolution of client queries.
• Maintain strong knowledge of wealth management products, global markets and financial instruments to provide sound recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies in all client interactions.
• Document client meetings, sales calls and business development activities for performance tracking.
• Drive process improvement through automation and digital solutions where required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Wealth Management.
• Experience selling insurance products is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to serve high‑net‑worth individuals and understand various asset classes such as mutual funds, fixed income and ETFs.
