Audit Supervisor – FY27 (Oman)

About the role

The Audit Supervisor will lead the execution of the FY27 audit plan for medium and large clients in Oman, applying KPMG audit methodologies to reduce risk and enhance revenue for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise audit engagements, allocating work to audit assistants.
• Conduct fieldwork, coach junior staff, and ensure timely preparation of financial statements and related deliverables.
• Maintain regular communication with managers and partners, providing progress updates and addressing issues.
• Prepare and analyse audit costs, manage work‑in‑progress (WIP) reporting, and process fee note requisitions.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients' financial management teams.
• Attend and follow up on stock counts.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, including at least 2 years post‑qualification.
• Experience with clients in real estate, construction, oil & gas sectors.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing, listening).

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Proficiency in advanced audit methodologies.
• Cost analysis and WIP management.
• Preparation of fee notes and debt collection follow‑up.
