Business Development & Finance Associate

About the role

Tansiq AI, an Omani AI startup building an Arabic‑first marketing and sales platform, is looking for an energetic, business‑minded professional to join its core team. The role blends business development with finance, giving you exposure to customers, partners, numbers and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers, partners and strategic opportunities across Oman and the GCC.
• Build and nurture relationships with ecosystem partners and support sales conversations, demos and follow‑ups.
• Research new markets, commercial opportunities and help develop partnership programmes.
• Manage financial records, expenses and basic accounting tasks.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and track revenue, costs and SaaS financial metrics.
• Develop financial models, commercial plans and prepare management and investor reports.

Required profile

• Energetic, commercial, confident and analytical with a strong hunger to learn.
• Comfortable talking to customers in the morning, analysing numbers in the afternoon and discussing opportunities with the founding team.
• Background in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field is valuable.
• Experience in sales, business development, startups, entrepreneurship or client‑facing roles is a major advantage.
• Demonstrates initiative, ambition, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help build the company.
