Business Development Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for a leading construction firm in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the construction and aluminium sectors through strategic marketing, client acquisition and tender management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise the company’s profile in local construction and engineering markets.
• Manage corporate social media channels, ensuring consistent brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee creation of marketing collateral, corporate presentations and pre‑qualification documents.
• Identify, research and pursue new business opportunities for the Construction and Aluminium divisions across public and private sectors.
• Generate qualified leads through field visits to potential clients, consultants, contractors, developers and project owners.
• Maintain an active pipeline of upcoming tenders, projects and enquiries for both divisions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging projects in Oman’s construction and aluminium sectors.
• Conduct client visits and presentations to showcase the company’s capabilities, products and project credentials.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, supplier days and pre‑qualification meetings.
• Lead pre‑qualification submissions, vendor registrations and update company profiles with clients and consultants.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports on lead generation, client visits, pipeline status and conversion metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development within construction and aluminium sectors in Oman.
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies.
• Experience managing corporate social media and producing professional marketing collateral.
• Track record of generating qualified leads and maintaining a robust tender pipeline.
• Strong knowledge of local market trends, competitor activity and emerging project opportunities.
