Category Executive – Grocery

About the role

Welcome to your next adventure as a Category Executive – Grocery. You will drive category growth by managing partner performance, expanding assortment, executing promotions and uncovering new commercial opportunities while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to turn data into measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of a portfolio of grocery partners, ensuring strong commercial performance and partner satisfaction.
• Develop and execute commercial plans focused on GMV, revenue, profitability and customer engagement.
• Build day‑to‑day relationships with partners, conduct performance discussions and support negotiations on commissions, promotions and visibility.
• Identify assortment gaps, new launches and exclusive products to expand the offering.
• Coordinate promotional calendars and adopt AdTech and retail media initiatives such as sponsored products and banners.
• Monitor partner KPIs, analyse data and provide recommendations to improve sales, pricing and operational performance.
• Collaborate with Category Managers, Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance and Business Intelligence teams to achieve category targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Economics or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Category Management, Key Account Management, Commercial, Business Development, Retail, Q‑Commerce or E‑commerce.
• Experience working with retail or grocery partners is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial metrics such as GMV, revenue, margin, commission and conversion.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills with a results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
