About the role
Travexell is seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to lead electrical operations on a major onshore drilling rig project in Oman. The role requires extensive rig‑specific electrical maintenance and troubleshooting expertise within the GCC oil and gas sector.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment on the drilling rig.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures and rig‑specific electrical standards.
- Coordinate with other technical teams to maintain continuous rig operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years total professional experience, including at least 5 years as a Chief Electrician.
- Mandatory onshore drilling rig and GCC work experience.
- Age between 35 and 50 years.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in drilling rig operations.

What we offer
- Monthly salary of OMR 1,100 – 1,200.
- 35‑day rotation schedule with an off‑salary benefit equal to 60% of gross salary.
