C&I Engineer – Ignition SCADA (Muscat, Oman)

About the role

Petrovision International LLC is seeking a full‑time C&I Engineer specialized in Ignition SCADA to join its Muscat office. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust SCADA solutions for clients in the oil & gas, power, and water sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA, PLC and HMI systems.
• Integrate PLCs with SCADA platforms and ensure reliable communication.
• Conduct performance testing, system optimisation and support process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise directly with clients to capture requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience with Ignition SCADA, SCADA programming and PLC integration.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, instrumentation and automation engineering.
• Familiarity with industrial network protocols and communication standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
