Civil Engineer – Maintenance

About the role

The company is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead civil and painting maintenance activities across plant facilities, industrial buildings and related infrastructure. The role ensures safe, reliable and cost‑effective operations while complying with HSE and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute civil and painting maintenance for process plants, buildings and infrastructure.
• Inspect, assess and recommend repairs for concrete, steel structures, roads, drainage and architectural finishes.
• Manage surface preparation, protective coatings, painting and corrosion control works.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams and contractors to carry out jobs safely and efficiently.
• Prepare work orders, schedules, material requisitions and completion reports using SAP.
• Conduct site inspections, identify defects and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements and HSE policies.
• Keep technical documentation, inspection reports and maintenance history up to date.
• Participate in shutdowns, turnarounds and emergency maintenance as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Sc.)
• Minimum 7 years of civil and painting maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Fertilizer industry (or 15 years with DAE qualification)
• Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP maintenance modules
