Construction Helper

About the role

2coms is hiring helpers for construction and site-related work in Oman. The helper assists skilled workers with material handling, basic site activities, cleaning and keeping the workplace safe and organised. The position is full time, on a 2-year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers with construction and site-related activities.
• Load, unload, carry and arrange construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Support skilled workers with basic preparation, cleaning and material-handling tasks.
• Maintain tools, materials and work areas in an organised condition.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers, and follow all site safety rules and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with team members and keep the workplace clean and safe.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Hardworking, disciplined and responsible; able to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and to relocate to Oman.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of OMR 90 (about 22,000 INR), including food.
• Overtime pay of OMR 0.400 per hour, with about 65 hours of overtime per month.
• Working pattern of 8 hours regular duty plus 2.5 hours overtime per day, 26 working days per month.
