Copper Tapping/Screening Operator

About the role

The Copper Tapping/Screening Operator works within the Production Team to ensure smooth operation of copper tapping machines and the delivery of cables that meet exact specifications. This position focuses on maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce cables according to the Quality Compliance Plan (QCP) at rated speeds.
• Set up and adjust machines efficiently by following operating instructions and procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements.
• Verify that cable orders match specifications before processing.
• Enter and update production data in the MES system.
• Communicate any issues or deviations to the supervisor promptly.

Required profile

• Secondary education with vocational training.
• 3 to 5 years of experience operating copper tapping machines.
• Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and in‑process testing.
• Fundamental technical aptitude.
