Cost Consultant – Large Mixed‑Use Development Project

About the role

Mace is seeking a Cost Consultant to join a high‑profile mixed‑use development programme in Saudi Arabia. The project includes sports facilities, entertainment venues, arts spaces and extensive infrastructure, offering a unique opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑contract quantity surveying and commercial activities for the entire project.
• Administer construction contracts, ensuring all parties comply with contractual obligations.
• Prepare, review and certify interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Evaluate variations, change orders, claims and extensions of time.
• Conduct cost analysis, forecasting and reporting throughout the project.
• Monitor budgets, identify commercial risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Support the preparation of monthly commercial reports and cost dashboards.
• Review contractor valuations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Provide commercial advice to stakeholders and collaborate with project, design and construction teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven contract administration experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Understanding of sustainability principles in construction.
