Cyber Security Engineer - Oman

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Oman. The role focuses on strengthening our security posture through design, implementation and operation of enterprise‑wide security solutions while supporting Omanisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy and maintain next‑generation firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and other network security controls.
• Implement and manage security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, PAM, DLP and NAC.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents and coordinate response actions within the SOC.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, manage remediation and support day‑to‑day security operations.
• Produce technical documentation and reports aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF and CIS Controls.
• Collaborate with project teams and managed‑security service providers to deliver security projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations or information security.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a SOC and cross‑functional security projects.
• Familiarity with Omanisation requirements is a plus.
