Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

The Data Analytics Specialist will support the bank’s analytical and reporting functions by designing interactive dashboards, analysing trends, and ensuring data accuracy. This role is essential for delivering insights that drive operational efficiency and data‑driven strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using SAP BO, Power BI, and SQL.
• Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple systems, perform data cleansing and consistency checks.
• Analyse KPIs, metrics, and trends to identify performance opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into visual reports.
• Support the setup, testing, and documentation of proof‑of‑concepts and pilot initiatives.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort.

Required profile

• Omani nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data management.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, SQL or Data Analytics are a plus.
