Digital Integration Expert

About the role

The Digital Integration Expert will lead the design and delivery of seamless connections between operational technology and enterprise applications within a railway environment. You will define the digital architecture, integration roadmap and data governance framework to ensure reliable data flows that support operations, maintenance and asset management before the system goes live.

Key responsibilities

• Define target digital systems architecture and integration roadmap across OT and enterprise platforms.
• Develop interface specifications, integration standards and data exchange requirements.
• Lead design, development coordination, testing and acceptance of integrations with suppliers and internal teams.
• Manage interface risks, dependencies and issues through implementation and cut‑over phases.
• Support commissioning, migration and go‑live activities to meet Entry into Service deadlines.
• Establish data governance, master data management and data quality processes across integrated systems.
• Enable reporting, dashboards and analytics for operational and asset performance.
• Coordinate cyber security, access management and resilience measures with IT/OT security functions.
• Oversee operational readiness activities, including testing, trial operations, training and resource mobilisation.
• Act as primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders on digital integration matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering large‑scale digital integration projects in an industrial or railway setting.
• Strong understanding of operational technology (train control, SCADA, condition monitoring) and enterprise systems (EAM/CMMS, ERP, document management).
• Experience with data governance, master data management and analytics enablement.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional teams, suppliers and complex risk matrices.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
