Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will act as the strategic financial leader for the property, shaping and executing financial strategies that support the brand’s service objectives and deliver strong returns on investment. Reporting to senior management, this role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement property‑wide financial strategies aligned with brand goals.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, create operating budgets, and monitor actual versus projected performance.
• Analyse sales, expenses, and market trends to identify cost‑saving and productivity opportunities.
• Provide analytical support for budget reviews, forecasting, and business‑plan development.
• Establish and maintain robust accounting and internal control systems to safeguard assets.
• Lead, mentor, and influence the finance team, promoting sound financial decision‑making.
• Collaborate with property managers to ensure financial objectives are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 1 year of experience.
