EBC Executive

About the role

The EBC Executive supports the delivery of seamless banquet and event experiences for guests at W Hotels in Muscat. Working closely with group coordinators, you will ensure that all event details are accurately captured, set up correctly, and executed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with group coordinators/hosts before functions to confirm arrangements and introduce the service team.
• Read and analyse banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine set‑up, timelines, and special requirements such as buffets or action stations.
• Respond to and follow up on special banquet requests, ensuring compliance with guest expectations.
• Adhere to all company safety, security, and appearance policies while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and provide courteous, professional assistance throughout the event.
• Answer telephone inquiries using proper etiquette and maintain clear, professional communication.
• Support team collaboration, uphold quality standards, and perform visual inspections of tools and equipment.
• Perform physical duties including lifting objects up to 25 lb, moving through various spaces, and standing for extended periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience in event or hospitality operations.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
