E‑Commerce Manager

About the role

The E‑Commerce Manager will lead the hotel’s digital distribution strategy, ensuring the brand website is the primary channel for bookings and that the overall online presence drives revenue growth. This role works closely with Revenue, Marketing and other departments to keep content accurate, optimise SEO and manage e‑marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate property content and presentation on brand, GHA and third‑party portals.
• Analyse website statistics, report on KPIs and support achievement of sales and distribution targets.
• Keep website content (text, images, translations) up‑to‑date across all languages and devices, including the mobile site.
• Monitor rate parity and collaborate with the Revenue team to ensure consistent pricing.
• Coordinate website enhancements with the corporate office and manage rate/room type descriptions.
• Create promotional content for special offers in partnership with Marketing and Revenue.
• Optimise SEO elements such as meta tags, keywords and search‑engine ranking.
• Produce and analyse corporate email newsletters, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Manage social media channels, monitor online reputation and respond to guest interactions.
• Develop e‑marketing campaigns targeting key feeder markets to increase qualified traffic and conversions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of hotel digital distribution and revenue optimisation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret website performance data.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multilingual content across multiple platforms.
• Collaborative mindset to work with Revenue, Marketing, PR and sales teams.
