EIT Inspector

About the role

The EIT Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (E/I/T) installation, testing, and commissioning activities at an offshore fabrication yard meet project specifications, approved drawings, applicable international codes, and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect installation of LV/MV switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, UPS systems, and battery chargers.
• Verify power and control cable routing, cable trays, conduits, glands, and terminations.
• Check field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, as well as control valves, actuators, solenoids, junction boxes, impulse tubing, and instrument air lines.
• Examine telecom infrastructure including fiber optic and copper communication cables, PA/GA systems, PAGA speakers & amplifiers, CCTV, access control, telephone, and data systems.
• Confirm compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, international codes, and client requirements throughout all inspection activities.

Required profile

• Familiarity with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant international codes.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections of electrical, instrumentation, and telecom installations in an offshore or industrial environment.
