Elevator & Escalator Installer

About the role

KONE is seeking skilled installers to join its Middle East, Turkey & Africa team. You will be responsible for installing high‑rise elevators and escalators across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage on‑site communication with customers during installation and logistics.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality, timely installation following KONE methods.
• Report progress, handle shortages or damage, and order replacement parts.
• Maintain tools, store equipment properly, and secure delivered materials.
• Coordinate with builders to avoid work interruptions and stay updated on field changes.
• Handle receipt, inspection and storage of materials.
• Submit reports on timekeeping, quality feedback and warranty claims.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years experience in high‑rise elevator or escalator installation.
• Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in elevator and escalator installation methods.
• Ability to interpret arrangement drawings.
• Understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards.
