F&B Hostess

About the role

InterContinental Muscat is looking for a poised and service‑oriented F&B Hostess to be the welcoming face of Trader Vic’s, a French‑Polynesian restaurant known for its sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. You will create memorable first and last impressions for guests, manage reservations and ensure smooth service flow in line with InterContinental brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with professionalism, warmth and a luxury attitude.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists and table assignments accurately.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus and coordinate with service and kitchen teams.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests promptly and handle inquiries or feedback with empathy.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual standards at the host desk and restaurant entrance.
• Uphold InterContinental grooming standards and brand values at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest‑facing hospitality role (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑groomed appearance with a confident, welcoming presence.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
