Female Private House Chef – Live-in in Muscat

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Female Private House Chef to join a private household in Muscat, Oman. This full-time, live-in position offers the chance to prepare fresh, healthy meals while upholding high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, healthy meals from scratch for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plan balanced menus with awareness of nutrition, macros and portion sizes.
• Adapt meals based on dietary and health requirements.
• Prepare everyday family meals and elevated dishes for guests and special occasions.
• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, organization and food storage standards.
• Source quality ingredients and support menu planning.

Required profile

• Female candidates only.
• Minimum 10 + years of relevant experience, preferably in private households, fine dining or high-level hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of healthy, nutritionally balanced cooking and handling dietary requirements such as low-sugar, low-sodium and allergy-conscious meals.
• Calm, discreet, personable, flexible and reliable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Mediterranean, Arabic, Asian and international cuisines.
• Experience with menu planning and nutrition-focused cooking.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and proper food storage practices.
