Front Desk Supervisor

About the role

The Front Desk Supervisor ensures smooth guest arrivals, accurate billing, and prompt resolution of guest concerns at our Muscat property. You will act as the primary point of contact for guests, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to deliver a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue keys.
• Process all payment types, including cash, credit cards, checks, and incidentals.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, escalating to appropriate departments when needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to confirm room readiness and manage room blocks in the reservation system.
• Maintain shift logs, count cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, and balance receipts according to accounting guidelines.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching of front‑desk staff.
• Observe safety protocols, report accidents, and uphold company policies and appearance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a front‑desk or guest‑services role.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
