About the role
We are seeking a Barista to manage opening and closing duties, serve coffee and food, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests at our Sheraton hotel in Muscat.
Key responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Take customer orders, enter them into the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and food items.
- Handle cash transactions, count the bank at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, coffee carts, tables, dishes, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Ensure coffee makers and other appliances are operated at appropriate times.
- Provide courteous service, welcome guests, and assist individuals with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform physical tasks as described.
- Ability to read small print and visually inspect equipment.
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
