Functional Consultant - Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a Functional Consultant – Cybersecurity to act as a Resident Engineer responsible for deploying and managing a security awareness platform. The role bridges customer business needs with technical solutions, providing trusted advisory support throughout implementation and post‑deployment phases.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure security awareness and phishing simulation platforms, including campaigns, user groups, dashboards and automation workflows.
• Monitor platform performance, user participation and campaign effectiveness, and manage vendor relationships and upgrades.
• Create and analyse executive dashboards and reports on engagement, training completion and simulation results.
• Maintain professional client communication, share updates and address routine queries.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure functional requirements are met.
• Provide post‑implementation support, log issues, gather feedback and coordinate resolutions.
• Assist in user training sessions and deliver basic support to promote adoption.
• Support knowledge‑transfer activities with client teams and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to align system functionality with business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into functional solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
