Head of Local Shops

About the role

Talabat is seeking a dynamic leader to head its local shop operations in Oman. As the Head of Local Shops you will shape the market strategy, drive growth, and ensure an outstanding customer experience across all touch points.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategic priorities, develop road‑maps and make financial decisions for the local market.
• Lead the commercial strategy, operational execution and growth initiatives for the vertical.
• Design, optimise and manage processes, including partnership management, to support revenue expansion.
• Collaborate closely with regional, product, operations and marketing teams to launch new products and improve existing workflows.
• Set and monitor KPIs, sales targets and fulfillment performance, recommending improvements to boost productivity and total revenue.
• Align cross‑functional teams to create scalable, efficient internal and external operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant leadership role.
• Proven track record in management, project management and local‑level strategy definition.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑changing environment and making data‑driven decisions.
• Ability to shift quickly from long‑term planning to immediate execution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomous work style and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
