About the role
The Hostess welcomes guests at St. Regis Al Mouj, ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience. You will be the first point of contact, guiding guests to their seats and supporting the service team throughout the shift.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to clean, available tables.
- Pull out chairs, place menus, napkins, silverware and ensure each setting meets brand standards.
- Arrange tables and seating for groups with special needs and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Follow all company safety policies, report incidents and complete required training.
- Maintain a professional appearance, uphold confidentiality and protect company assets.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
- Clear, professional communication skills and courteous telephone etiquette.
