HSE Trainer

About the role

The HSE Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering Health, Safety and Environment training programmes to employees, subcontractors and visitors. The role ensures compliance with company HSE standards, client requirements and statutory regulations while fostering a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HSE induction programmes for new employees, subcontractors and visitors.
• Deliver safety training sessions on topics such as Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Lifting & Rigging, Hot Work Safety, Electrical Safety, Permit to Work (PTW), Fire Prevention & Emergency Response, Incident Reporting & Investigation, Defensive Driving and PPE Usage.
• Identify training needs through site inspections, audits and incident analysis.
• Develop and update HSE training materials, presentations, handouts, videos and assessment tools.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, examinations and field observations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop, coordinate and deliver HSE training programmes.
• Experience identifying training needs via site inspections, audits and incident analysis.
• Capability to evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and field observations.
