Human Resources Executive

About the role

The HR Executive will oversee core HR operations for a portfolio of hotels and premium restaurants. You will ensure accurate employee records, smooth payroll processing, and compliance with local labour regulations while driving employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from job posting to offer management.
• Conduct onboarding, orientation, and probationary evaluations.
• Maintain confidential personnel files, contracts, visas and certifications.
• Oversee attendance, overtime, leave and holiday records.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll, including timesheets and overtime.
• Administer employee benefits such as insurance and end‑of‑service payments.
• Handle employee grievances in line with company policy.
• Support performance management, appraisals and PIPs.
• Drive engagement initiatives, staff events and recognition programmes.
• Coordinate staff accommodation, move‑in/move‑out and maintenance.
• Arrange employee air‑ticket bookings for business travel and repatriation.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, immigration rules and internal policies.
• Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, attendance and other metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive HR Generalist/Executive experience.
• At least 3 years in the hospitality industry (hotels or premium restaurants).
• Proven track record in recruitment, payroll processing and employee relations.
• Hands‑on experience with HRIS, payroll and time‑attendance systems.
• Strong knowledge of local labour and immigration regulations.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM‑CP, HRCI) is a plus.
