Integration Engineer

About the role

The Integration Engineer will design, develop, and manage enterprise integration solutions for a leading bank. Working with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and API Gateway in cloud‑native Kubernetes environments, the role ensures secure, scalable, and high‑performance integration across core banking systems and external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain integration services, message flows, and reusable components that meet enterprise standards.
• Define end‑to‑end integration architecture aligned with best practices and technology frameworks.
• Govern API design, development, publishing, versioning, and retirement while enforcing security and compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for integration services and APIs.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis for integration platforms.
• Manage deployment and operations of integration platforms in cloud‑native environments, ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines and automate build and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise integration, preferably in the banking sector.
• Hands‑on experience with integration platforms, API management, and cloud‑native environments.
• Experience with core banking systems or related production support is a plus.
