International Affairs Expert (Remote)

About the role

Sothis International is seeking an International Affairs Expert to provide strategic analysis and guidance on foreign‑policy and regulatory matters that affect its global design and infrastructure projects. This full‑time remote position supports cross‑border collaborations and ensures that all initiatives align with local cultural, political, and legal frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor geopolitical developments and assess their impact on ongoing and future projects.
• Research international regulations, standards, and compliance requirements relevant to architecture, urban development, and infrastructure.
• Prepare concise briefings, reports, and policy‑related communications for senior leadership and project teams.
• Advise internal stakeholders on cross‑border collaboration strategies and risk mitigation for international ventures.
• Coordinate with external partners, government entities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Ensure projects respect regional cultural, political, and regulatory contexts.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and research capabilities to evaluate international trends and policies.
• Solid knowledge of international relations, foreign policy, and regulatory environments.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a multicultural setting.
• Experience working with international organisations, government bodies, or global NGOs (beneficial).
• Advanced degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple remote projects, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Familiarity with architecture, urban development, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
