Interventional Cardiologist Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist Specialist to join our cardiac care team in Oman. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality interventional procedures, manage acute coronary cases, and contribute to the overall excellence of our cardiovascular services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and other cath‑lab procedures.
• Conduct cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implantation, balloon mitral valvotomy, aortoplasty and pericardiocentesis.
• Manage emergency cardiac interventions and acute coronary syndromes.
• Provide on‑call coverage as per the duty roster, including split‑shift duties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• DM/DNB/DrNB in Cardiology (Interventional Cardiology).
• Minimum 3 years post‑specialisation experience; preferably 4–6 years.
• Age up to 48 years.
• Completed Oman DataFlow, Prometric, MOH Viva or DHA exam clearance preferred.
