Investment Back Office Supervisor

About the role

The Supervisor – Investment Back Office oversees day‑to‑day operations of the Investment Back Office, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation and reporting of investment transactions across local, regional and international markets. The role drives operational efficiency, risk management and high‑quality service to the Investment Banking Division and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely processing of all investment transactions, including brokerage, asset management, wealth management and proprietary portfolio activities, as well as IPO subscriptions and corporate actions.
• Perform and supervise daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, investment accounts and general‑ledger balances, investigating breaks and ensuring proper accounting treatment.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards, conduct risk assessments and define key risk indicators.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports, regulatory returns and customer reports, developing dashboards to track volumes, productivity and error rates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Investment Banking Division, internal departments and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for operational support.
• Support new business initiatives such as IPOs and new investment products, enhancing operational controls and reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Investment Operations, Custody or Banking Operations.
