IT Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The IT Manager will oversee all technology services for the hotel property, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software and network infrastructure. This role provides first‑ and second‑level support, manages budgets, and guarantees compliance with Marriott policies and information security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technology budgets, CAPEX planning and invoice processing for hardware, telecommunications and local servers.
• Maintain inventory of applications and hardware, produce reports and ensure assets are secured.
• Provide end‑user support: imaging desktops, installing software, applying patches, mapping drives and handling data migrations.
• Perform routine desktop and server backups, apply security patches, and enforce encryption and other security measures.
• Support network infrastructure including servers, switches, routers and access points, coordinating with Marriott IT and external vendors as needed.
• Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity planning and escalation of complex issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 2‑4 years of IT experience, or an associate degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field with 2 years experience.
• Professional certifications related to systems administration are preferred.
