IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager will lead the technology operations for voco Muscat Al Mouj, ensuring all hotel systems run smoothly and securely. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on support to deliver a reliable, differentiated guest and colleague experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise the property management system (PMS), point‑of‑sale (POS), telephone, internet and guest‑room technologies.
• Manage LAN, WAN and Wi‑Fi networks, ensuring stable connectivity across the hotel.
• Oversee server administration, data backups, disaster‑recovery procedures and business‑continuity planning.
• Implement and enforce information‑security policies, including GDPR, PCI‑DSS and IHG standards.
• Coordinate regular security audits, system patches and software updates.
• Provide first‑line IT support to hotel staff, manage the help‑desk workflow and maintain incident documentation.
• Liaise with approved external vendors for procurement, installation and ongoing maintenance.
• Track and manage inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with IHG corporate IT standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
