IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager provides first‑ and second‑level technical support for hotel property systems, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software and network infrastructure. This role works within established guidelines to perform routine repairs, installations and maintenance while supporting the hotel’s technology budget and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technology budgets, CAPEX requests and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with Marriott policies and information security standards.
• Order, install and maintain PCs, telecommunications equipment, local servers and network devices; conduct inventories and generate reports.
• Provide end‑user support: image desktops, install software, apply patches, configure drives, and perform routine backups.
• Support server and network infrastructure (servers, switches, routers, APs), perform backups, preventative maintenance and assist with disaster‑recovery planning.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 2‑4 years of IT experience, or an associate degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field with 2 years experience.
• Professional certifications related to systems administration are preferred.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site at the Muscat property and follow established IT procedures.
