IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager provides first- and second‑level technical support for the hotel’s property systems, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software and network infrastructure. Working within established guidelines, the role balances day‑to‑day troubleshooting with strategic technology planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technology budgets, place equipment orders, process invoices and maintain inventory of applications and hardware.
• Provide end‑user support: image desktops, install software, apply patches, configure peripherals and perform routine backups.
• Maintain server and network infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers and access points, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott International policies, information security manuals and vendor contracts, and support disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 2‑4 years of IT experience, or an associate degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Preferred professional certifications related to systems administration.

Required skills

• Server administration and maintenance.

• Desktop imaging, software installation and patch management.
• Encryption, backup procedures and security compliance.
