IT Security Pre‑Sales Specialist

About the role

The IT Security Pre‑Sales Specialist will act as a bridge between technical security solutions and business customers, translating complex concepts into clear value propositions. You will work closely with senior leaders and technical teams to design, demonstrate, and integrate security architectures that protect data and networks.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the security team as a subject‑matter expert in client meetings and internal workshops.
• Provide consultancy on building tailored security solutions for diverse customers.
• Install, configure, administer and maintain security platforms from both cyber‑security and network‑security perspectives.
• Identify, assess and mitigate platform and service risks, ensuring compliance with change and risk management policies.
• Validate interoperability of security solutions with networking, storage and other supporting systems.
• Test security updates, component upgrades and new architecture designs.
• Maintain service level agreements and drive continuous improvement of security offerings.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of IT engineering or architecture experience with a strong background in network and cyber security.
• Proven ability to communicate security, data‑protection and DLP concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures, including disaster recovery and forensic tools.
• Project and change‑management skills, with a track record of delivering security policies, standards and procedures.

Required skills

• Authentication and authorization protocols.
• Highly‑available architectures and networking protocols.
• Risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Security analytics platforms such as IBM QRadar, Splunk, ArcSight or next‑generation AI‑SIEM solutions.
• Data Loss Prevention, encryption, cryptography, tokenization, access control, data classification and PKI.
• Network architecture and infrastructure security technologies.
• Current security threat knowledge.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CCNP, CCIE, HPE ASE/MASE, SonicWALL Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE 4+).
