IT Support Engineer (Part Time - Dispatch)

About the role

SkySys is seeking a Part‑Time IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site dispatch assistance for its client in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Visits are scheduled on an as‑needed basis, typically one to two times per month, with at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers and other IT peripherals.
• Configure and support Windows operating systems, networking components, VPN, DNS, DHCP and RDP connections.
• Execute PC break/fix and Smart Hands tasks, including equipment moves and cable management.
• Maintain clear communication with the client and internal NOC, confirming sponsor authorization before each visit.
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of field IT or desktop support experience.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 50 lb.
• Personal laptop for remote connectivity and on‑site work.
• Authorization to work with SkySys as confirmed by the NOC.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred.

What we offer

• $11 USD per hour as an independent contractor.
