Kitchen Equipment Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to ensure the smooth operation of all kitchen appliances and related MEP systems. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of kitchen equipment in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, coffee machines and other kitchen appliances.
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules and quickly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Perform electrical tasks including distribution board work, wiring, socket and breaker replacement.
• Handle plumbing duties such as water line repairs, drainage maintenance and grease trap servicing.
• Execute mechanical and HVAC tasks, including fan coil unit (FCU) servicing.
• Respond to breakdown calls, keep accurate service records and follow safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with kitchen equipment and MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC components used in commercial kitchens.
• Proven troubleshooting ability and attention to safety protocols.

• Electrical systems (distribution boards, wiring, sockets, breakers).
• Plumbing systems (water lines, drainage, grease traps).
• Mechanical/HVAC maintenance (fan coil units).
