Kitchen Equipment Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to ensure the smooth operation of kitchen facilities by maintaining, repairing and performing basic MEP work on a range of commercial appliances. The role involves responding to breakdowns, conducting preventive maintenance and adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and coffee machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Handle electrical tasks including distribution boards, wiring, sockets and circuit breakers.
• Carry out plumbing work on water lines, drainage systems and grease traps.
• Perform mechanical and HVAC duties, including fan coil unit (FCU) servicing.
• Attend breakdown calls, keep accurate service records and follow safety and hygiene protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Mechanical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with kitchen equipment and MEP systems.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen appliances and troubleshooting techniques.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
