Lead Planning – Turnaround / Shutdown Projects

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Lead Planning professional to drive turnaround and shutdown projects across our operations. The role is ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in planning, execution and stakeholder management within the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Planning Manager in achieving project and turnaround objectives and ensure availability of required resources.
• Update turnaround activities in the Level‑IV plan in coordination with Discipline In‑charge and Site Manager.
• Prepare realistic targets for execution staff and integrate them into the Level‑IV plan.
• Guide pre‑mobilisation activities to ensure smooth project commencement.
• Manage project cost and financial aspects, ensuring budget adherence and cost control.
• Monitor scheduling, reporting and execution, taking corrective actions to meet timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate communication and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience planning and executing turnarounds or shutdowns in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Proven track record of managing shutdown, turnaround and retrofit projects.
