Lead Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the analysis, design, and delivery of enterprise solutions across multiple business domains. In this role you will bridge business needs with technical execution, ensuring high‑quality outcomes that align with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and create BRDs, FRSs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams.
• Work closely with architects, developers, QA, and project managers to deliver solutions.
• Support Agile activities such as backlog management, sprint planning, and requirement prioritization.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement validation sessions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Manage requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and assist with change management, training, and deployment.

Required profile

• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead workshops and requirement discussions.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Background in digital transformation or enterprise technology projects within telecommunications, banking, or financial services.

Required skills

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with cloud and digital platforms.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to create BPMN, UML, swimlane, and process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart or Draw.io.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Figma (preferred).
