Learning and Quality Manager

About the role

The Learning and Quality Manager will drive a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence across all departments at voco Muscat Al Mouj. You will ensure that every team member has the skills, knowledge and service standards required to deliver the brand promise of "Reliably Different" while maintaining compliance with IHG guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate training programmes that support hotel operations, brand standards and individual growth.
• Conduct training‑needs analysis, identify skill gaps and deliver targeted learning interventions.
• Lead onboarding and induction for new colleagues in line with voco and IHG standards.
• Facilitate soft‑skills, customer‑service and leadership development programmes.
• Partner with department heads to support departmental training initiatives and ensure mandatory training compliance.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare training‑related reports for management and IHG.
• Lead quality‑management efforts, ensuring adherence to IHG Brand Standards and internal SOPs.
• Monitor performance through quality audits, internal reviews and guest‑feedback platforms such as Medallia.
• Develop action plans with department heads to address improvement areas and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Act as the primary contact for IHG quality audits, LRA inspections and guest‑experience programmes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IHG Brand Standards and internal SOPs.
• Proven experience designing, implementing and evaluating training programmes for hotel operations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with department heads and other stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to interpret audit results and develop improvement action plans.

Required skills

• Experience using the Medallia guest‑feedback platform.
