Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents. This full‑time position requires a proactive approach to safety, hazard mitigation, and guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and monitor access points.
• Operate and review Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) and alarm systems.
• Conduct emergency response drills, safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Provide first aid/CPR and coordinate with EMS during accidents.
• Document incidents, maintain confidentiality of reports and release information only to authorized personnel.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and enforce alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and address service needs.
• Support management in training, coaching and motivating security staff.

Required profile

• Strong observational skills and ability to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, run and lift objects up to 50 lb (assistance for heavier items).
• Commitment to confidentiality, uniform standards and company policies.
