Migration Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client, a global cards and payments firm, is partnering with a leading bank in Oman to execute a comprehensive card‑scheme migration. The Migration Delivery Manager will lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and act as the central coordination point between the bank and the client, ensuring a smooth transition of the card portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PMO to govern and drive the end‑to‑end card scheme migration program.
• Develop and maintain a Migration Masterplan, managing workstreams, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the scheme and the client, providing executive‑level communication and governance.
• Oversee card production, digital issuance, personalization, fulfillment and processor integration while ensuring scheme compliance.
• Manage the customer conversion strategy and journey to minimise impact and maximise activation and spend.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Procurement, external partners) to meet program objectives.
• Monitor migration progress, performance dashboards and conversion health, delivering regular reports and actionable insights.
• Identify, escalate and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies and decisions.
• Lead portfolio optimisation initiatives post‑migration to achieve targeted performance and customer behaviour outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project/program management within payments, banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale migration or transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Deep understanding of card production, digital provisioning and scheme compliance.
• Ability to analyse performance data (activation, spend, attrition) and drive measurable uplift.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams across technology, operations, marketing and risk.
