Network Officer – Provider Relations

About the role

Munich Re's Oman MedNet Group, a leading Third-Party Administrator across the Middle East and Africa region, is looking for a Network Officer. The officer is accountable for establishing and maintaining relations with healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to policy procedures and troubleshooting issues and complaints raised by providers.

Key responsibilities

• Provider relationship management: hold regular provider meetings, build business networks and mediate disputes between providers and internal departments.
• Performance monitoring: maintain complaints dashboards, track resolution turnaround times and run root cause analysis to improve processes.
• Provider training: deliver training and orientation programmes.
• Client management: handle client-specific tasks, projects and daily operations.
• Business reporting: give management updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Network surveys: design and run surveys to gather market insights.
• Projects and assignments: carry out network-related projects directed by the Head of Department.
• Continuous improvement: identify improvement opportunities in provider management and network operations.
• Onsite visits: deliver provider training and address targeted operational issues.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospital Administration or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• 1 year of experience in provider relations functionality at GCC level.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD and CPT codes.
• Knowledge of the local healthcare services system.
